where's the D4U1 comp.

I need to know if I can replace the D4U1 comp. with the tranny in the car. I have no idea where it is , so I could use a little help.

Right behind the glove box.

The D4U1 computer is right behind the glove box and can be seen through the engine bay by looking right behind the timing belt covers on the firewall. You will see a ********* wiring harness that seems to have a hundred wires going into it (cuz it does) and can be removed by taking out that large nut that holds the wiring harness to the computer itself. There is a small phillips screw or nut inside the car (behind the glove box) if I remember correctly. That is where the car's computer is. It has nothing to do with the tranny except slightly improve its performance.
