Where to put in fluid

Well i need a good pic or at least a good way of putting fluid in my mtx. I have had to let it sit without a axle for a night and its been leaking the whole time. I want to make sure that there is fluid in it and also what to use . i did use the search before i posted na dthe pics i seen was off the car. any help would be appreciated.

I have a pic at home i can send you when i get home if no one else posts up.I just got through doing the MTX drain and refill yesterday.

I believe the general concensus is that, different trannies will react to different fluids. The two top choices are Mobil 1 ATF, and Redline D4 fluid. As for the location of the fill plug, it's a 3/8 square plug that you can fit a 3/8's ratchet onto with an extension to loosen. It's facing the radiator on the front of the trans case. You'll also need a flex tube funnel to fill it with fluid.

I found this pic.Also to fill it i went to walmart and found a fuel primer for marine use.It was in the spporting goods section and has a hand pump with long hoses on both sides.Insert one end into the bottle of tranny fliud and the other hose into the tranny and pump it.It took all of 5 minutes to get the 3 or so quarts in it and the primer only cost about $7.Hope this helps.
