Where to get skinny shims?

Your options are:
1. run a large shim and no lash cap.

Couldn't you jsut remove the lash caps? I know on my 93 with stage 1 cams, only half the valves had lash caps.

We do have both small shims down to 2000 and large shims up to around 3200 so we can cover you either way.

I would suggest machining down the lash caps as an option. I would not machine the shims down because if they are surfaced hardened you would loose the harness.

Thanks for all the help. I was able to trade for most of the shims I needed at my local yamaha dealer. I cleaned them out pretty good. I guess most motorcycles aren't 24 valve. Sho source in going to hook me up with the few I am missing. Pretty much all my shims were in the 2100 to 2300 range.
