About to put my car together finally Friday and got the call the mount is shot. Looked everywhere and found nothing other than aftermarket Anchor part. Seen on the forum that RockAuto or shonut sell them sometime but out of stock at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I found that modifying mounts like this worked pretty good if the metal just separated from the rubber. The bushings are urethane sway bar endlink bushings. I'd even do this to a brand new mount.

That's not a bad idea Kelvin! And I have an extra endlink in my garage too. Nice

Are the rebuild mounts as good as new ones? Does extra stiffness make the engine vibration noiser in the cabin?

Thanks

An OEM mount will eventually fail so reinforcement is needed if you want it to last a lifetime which is why we offer a lifetime warranty with our rebuild.

The rebuilt ones are better then new.

The vibration is minimal unless you have aluminum subframe bushings. It will be more but not terrible.
