OK, I know I am going to feel like a dumb-ass as soon as someone answers this question, but where the **** is the low-side AC fitting?

I see the high-side near the battery, but cant find the low side. It's either buried (like most things on this car) or there isn't one (weird?).

Thanks for the help :)

If you have an ATX, the low side fitting is on the passenger side of the firewall, behind that plastic cover-looking thing. You need to pull out the plastic push pins retaining it and lift the cover up. You'll see it to the left of the dryer/condenser (looks like a flask with a plug on top).

If it's an MTX, I have no idea. Sorry. lol

Under the cover that is on the firewall. It doesn't matter stick or auto.

Well, that would explain why I couldn't find it, I wasn't expecting it to be shrouded.

On a related note, what are the nominal pressures for the AC System on a '95 ATX? It's been a while since I've messed with AC, but I want to say the high-side scale ranges from 2.5-times ambient temp (in F) for the low end and add 10% for the high end. The low side I want to say should read about 25% of the high-side. All of the above ratings are for the car when at 2500-rpm, and the low-side needed to be above 25-30 PSI to activate the pressure switch.

So if it's 80F outside, my high-side should read between 200 and 220, and my low side should be between 50-55psi. Right?

Since my guages and jug of freon have dust on them, I also wouldn't mind someone who's kept up with it to correct my memory if possible :)
