I was just curious as to where the actual keyless entry module is in the 92-95 SHO's...I wanted to use it to trip a couple of my alarm wires. According to the shop manual I have, it looks to be either in the trunk or under the rear deck...is that correct? And if so, how would I get to it?

Thanks!

In the trunk against the back seat near the bottom on the drivers side.

What wires could you possibly find there that you would need for an alarm? Just about everything you need is at or near the drivers side kick panel.

Well the thought was that I would use those wires instead of the door lock wires to arm/disarm the system, as the alarm can be deactivated by simply breaking the glass and pressing the unlock button...or is that me just overcomplicating things and giving thieves too much credit?

That's why we have diodes....I'm not going to go into your custom install but you can utilize a diode on the lock circuit so that you can't disarm the alarm by the doorswitch.
