The bushings in the top right of this pic, I got these from rcm and it looks like they go in the LCA where it bolts to the subframe. However there is that little extra ridge ill call it, that sticks out, and it doesnt countersink into the subframe like I would think it would. Also if it does infact go in the LCA where it mounts to the subframe, how do I remove the old bushing (its a new suspension piece but I have all TPR for it) and get it in there?

Also one other question, when putting the LCA on the tension strut rod is there supposed to be greese or anything on that bushing or is that jsut metal on rubber? My rods are a little rusted and the metal isnt smooth so im wondering if its goign to hew up the new bushings. The old ons seemed ok though.:thankyou:

I used moog stuff, and used some white lithium grease.. havent heard from them since. They should pull / wiggle out. The bad ones were the ones on my LCA's.. I had to burn / press those out. :)

MY LCA's are all moog stuff, but where do those pieces go? Those ones in the top right, are they in the part of the LCA where the TSR goes through it? or are they the ones that go in the LCA where it mounts to the subframe?

Yea the ones in the top right are the ones where the strut rod goes thru the LCA. I kept the ones in my LCA, because I tried using a set of Red Energy Suspension bushings I had just like that, but after I put them in, the one side wasn't wide enough to get snugged up by the bolt. There was still a little bit of room to move around. A few washers would have fit, and fixed it, but it wasnt a perfect fit, and I didn't like that, so I put the old 'stock' bushing back in place.

do they make TPR bushings for that part there?

I didnt find any for that bushing cose these comes with new ball joints (LCA) , the only place I found they had this (that bushing alone) in rubber , was at Summit. And they are not that easy to press in. Plus these things goes for 20 bucks each....

ok I guess ill skip that bushing then, only reason i was asking is thats the point where the suspension presses on in turns, so the less mushy that is, it should make for better steering response.

somewhat,

once you remove the old bushing make sure the inner sleeve where the new bushing will be pressed in is immaculately clean, and smooth. if there is any rust buildup on the inside, you will just end up shredding the new bushing when you press it in!! also, when forcibly inserting any object into a hole, use **** ;)
