Hey guys and gals, does anybody have a picture of the drivers side lifting point or ring. I've got the passenger side all bolted up but for the life of me I can't find the drivers side one. I need to lift this thing off the engine stand so I can bolt the VW adapter and tranny to it.

Thanks,

Tom

There should be an "eye" where the Alternator was bolted to. It looks like a loop where a hook would go. There's another one of these "eyes" that you have to get from Ford or equivalent, and that bolts to the rear. Unless you fabricate your own. Good luck! beer

that's honestly the only play I can see it going. When I did my clutch I did it at the lower point of the intake bracket. I got a small eye and threaded it in. I was praying nothing would happening, considering it's just aluminum. They make slings to go under engines, that would be the ideal thing to get. An engine load leveler doesn't hurt either :D
