When it rains hard out my electrical system goes CRAZZY

Today it rained like crazy. And I was forced to go through a puddle on the road that was about 12" deep and when I got to the other side. About 15 feet at about 45 miles an hour my inside lights went on and my head light chime starts going off non stop .
The light chime stays on until i turn off the parking/headlights.
And my inside light is still on ever since i parked it 4 hours ago.

This happened about 2 months ago and I paid a shop over 300 dollers to tell me they couldnt find anything wrong wit it.

PLEASE HELP.

well first off a 12" puddle if very deep thats over the bottoms of the doors u don't have an off road vehicle so stay away from things that deep. and my guess is maybe wires in contact under the hood or a loose or unconnected ground wire somewhere.
