Hey guys...first post here. Just wanted to start a bit of a build thread. Working on a 1998 SHO with 160k miles. Interior is in good shape, so I thought it would be worth putting $3000 in total, to have a fun ride. I'm a Corvette guy, but every now and then I need to take the kids to school, etc, so this is going to be my "cheap" car to do so. I've always loved the SHO, I put 250k miles on a 1995...but I've been a big fan of the gen 3's for a while, and picked this one up on the cheap. $1300 initial investment...$250 in brakes, A/C repair, etc, and now going to spend $1000 on wheels and $500 on paint. Also going to lower the car to tuck the 20's!!!
I'm not seeing anything out there on 20's...the black car has been photoshopped...but that's the look I'm looking for out of my maroon one. Anyway, wheels have been bought, 20x9's, and I'm committed to rolling the lips, knocking out the fenders or even adding small flares to make them work. Here's to doing something different!!!
