Has anyone here ever added wheel spacers to your car? If so, do you have any pictures? I'm kind of interested.

How big are we talking here? I added spacers to my 93 but it was only 3mm, you don't want to big of a spacer (if any at all) it can put excess stress on the studs and possibly snap them in hard cornering.

I've never really thought they looked that good on cars. Now on trucks and SUV's thats another story. However, like the above statement said, it does add extra stress to your bearings and what not. I wouldn't reccomend them personally.

Well, lol the one I saw on eBay was 12mm lol. I would never use that, that's like.. well, you know.. ricer.

I was looking at my wheel in the front and they are good for me, I was more or less thinking about extending it out a couple mm's in the back. Not sure yet though.

More than one volvo guy running 15MM spacers in the rear and 10MM spacers in the front .. abusing the car on the track ... no issues.

Just make the tires "punch out" a little bit possibly. I was just pondering around on eBay looking for nothing really, just searching and came across them and got a thought into my head.

They were only $15.. so what the **** right?

you can go to your local speed shop and get them for like $5 each and no shipping. I bought my car in April and it had 1/4 spacers on the rear already. The rear tires are now even with the front and looks much better IMO

havent had it to the track yet. I will be going on the 30th of this month though. Seeing that they are on the rear, there is not as much stress on them as if they were on the front so I am not really concerned with the safety aspect of them

I had wheels with some offset that pushed them out. Replaced the front wheel bearings within a year.....

Paul's point is excellent. The design of the bearings and their mounting is done in conjunction with the design of the offset, as well as the intended alignment. Mess about with any of these very much and you are going to get faster component breakdown than would otherwise be expected.
