I am missing a few of the little plastic things that go inside my Team Dynamic wheels. They slide in so the wheel can fit 100% on the knuckle.
Where can i find em?

umm, Team Dynamics? Did you buy these from SHO Nut? If so, give Josh a call.

Worst case, I think I have 4 left over from my TD Wheels days, but I'm gonna charge for them.

PS - "Hub Centering Rings" is what you want. Wheel spacers move the wheels outward away from the car.

Tire rack, discount tire, any tire store should be able to get you what you need. They will need to know the hub diameter that you have and the hub diameter of the wheel though.

On the box that they came in, there should be the bore size......Get me that bore, and I more than likely have the rings in stock.

I've found that mine become more of a pain than anything. All they really do is make it a little easier to mount the wheel. Mine are plastic and don't share any of the load onto the hub.

All those rings do is center the wheel on the hub upon installation. Our vehicles are lug-centric which means the wheel is centered by the lugs and not the hub. My curent wheels do not have the rings and they are just fine. In all, the rings are really needed. When you tighten the lugs, tighten them with the wheels OFF the ground.

Most stock wheels are hub centric. Most domestic vehicles are lug centric. Almost all import vehicles are hub centric.

Even on hub centric wheels the lugs are what hold the weight. Unless the wheels are a press-fit onto the hub there is a small air gap. The hub may hold the wheel in place the first time the lugs are tightened and take a set, but from there on its the lugs doing the work. Don't believe me? Take a feeler gage and see how much between the wheel and the hub is just air.

So you mean the flat washer style lugs on my Expedition are holding all of the weight? I don't think so. You are correct to a certain extent, and it depends on the type of vehicle and/or wheel.
