Wheel Size Question

Yes but the ride will suffer somewhat. The springs are not as "stiff" I think compared to the SHO ones.

So.... the car will probably bounce around more then right? Wouldn't the SARC still be functional?

If it is going to be such a pain in the ass just to lower the car to achieve a nice look with larger wheels, I may end up having to do the ghetto drop after all. I really don't want to change out struts and all.

SARC doesn't work with anything other than OEM replacement struts. I'm not even sure you can get SARC struts anymore, just normal Taurus ones.

Yes 2002 Taurus Struts are good replacements for the SHO but you have to use SHO springs.

They have a lot of wheels for the Taurus, I've never heard of a lot of the Brands, But there certainly is some good looking wheels available.

If you buy anything from wheelsnext ask if they are available or can even get them. Every wheel I wanted from there they couldn't get. You wouldn't believe the trouble I had finding wheels. Then when I got them I didn't end up with the right ones.

Thanks. They do have a good selection and I saw a couple that I will check on, I am really leaning toward the Enkie J10's. The Enkie's are available in a black matte finish that is not too flat and not too shiny, I think they will go well with Ebony Satin, but I really want to see some in person to make sure.
I like the gloss black and gunmetal wheels as well.

Opinion question: Of these three choices, what do you think would look the best with Ebony Satin, Matte Black, Gloss Black, or Gunmetal?

I have searched and searched and have found nothing but dead ends, does anyone make a lowering spring for the Gen3 SHO anymore?

Google Eibach, then search within for Taurus.

Done that, I see nothing pertaining to a Gen3 SHO. I just checked their website and I entered the year and make and there is nothing for a Taurus in their list. Other websites only list springs for the Gen2 SHO and Gen3 wagon.
These springs have got to be out there somewhere.

They never made springs for the SHO just the regular Taurus. That's why the strut /springs are a problem.

Okay, now I understand, I was searching for something that never existed in the first place. What exactly is the problem? Rough ride? Spongey ride? Suspension geometry?

The springs will bottom out in front. If you were serious then custom made ones would be the thing. But struts would still be a problem.
