Yamaha V6
SHO Enthusiast
The SHO uses a 5-lug, 108mm bolt pattern (~4.25").
The (5-lug) Mustang uses a 4.5" bolt pattern.
Out of the box, Mustang wheels will not fit on a SHO.
The stock '89-'90 "Basketweave" wheels are 15"x6".
The stock '91-'92 non-directional ("Canadian") slicers are 16"x6", as are the stock '93-'95 directional ("Italian") slicers. They use a +42mm offset.
(insert Gen 3 wheel info here)
Various wheel combos have been used, some more successfully than others. 16x7, 16x8, 17x7, 17x8, 17x9 (w/ spacers), 18x7, 18x8 & 19x? have been used. Offsets typically vary from ~+37mm to +45mm. On '89-'91, the rear fender flares may require fender trimming on oversized wheels, as does the occasional '92-'95. (insert Gen 3 fitment notes here).
Tire widths from 205 through 245 are commonly used on the oversized wheels (215 is ok for 6" wide, 225-235 is typically 7"-7 1/2", 245 is typically for 8")
Some Volvo wheels, some Jag, some Lincoln, some Thunderbird wheels will fit. Here's the meat of the subject though: "5x108mm", "offset between +37mm & +45mm" will get you very close, but individual test-fitting is always best. "Your Mileage May Vary".
