Does anyone know how much the 2010 SHO 20" wheels weigh? I am thinking of Demoda Concerto 20" X 8.5" wheels, but I would be very discouraged if doing so would add significant weight. ALSO, I just saw the new 20" optional wheels for the 2014 Taurus. I honestly might wait to get a set of those when I could find them cheaper than what Ford wants. :thankyou:

The 20" Flex wheels are 32 lbs. With tires 63 lbs. I believe Darreli weighed his before buying lighter ones, and his PP wheels/tires were very close to my numbers. From my research, the stock Ford 20"s are about average weight for both tire and wheel.

You can get a good idea of wheel weight/ tire weight on TireRack's website. TSW also shows weights of their rotoforged wheels in various diameters and widths (now 3 styles).

That's why I went with smaller 18" wheels (TSW Rotoforged Interlagos) and smaller/ lighter (Pilot Super Sport) tires after lowering with H & R's . That package cut 20 lbs a wheel/tire! Really improves handling and braking.

It's all relative, if you want a specific look.
