This may have been asked before, but will these fit?
17x9 with a 36mm offset

If they will fit, will I be able to put my 225-45-17 tires on them?

Thanks

Dont know about the offset(seems pretty low) but jdh00(#338) 17x9's SVT wheels fit just fine with 235/45/17 tires, other than them sticking out a bit because of his 38mm offset(if you can deal with it) there are no fitment problems:

The tires will protrude out about 1" past the fenders, and about 3/4" into the rear struts. That is, the strut will need 3/4" shaved off its side,,not all that good of an idea, lets the oil drain out, piston gets real rusty, you get the idea. Taurus wheel wells just ain't that big, unless you want to do some body work. I have 16x 7 ,,36mm offset wheels on my 92, there just isn't enough room for that extra inch between the wheel and the struts.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll pass on these then. If theres one thing I can't stand it's the wheels sticking out from the wheel wells.
