Was the frame checked out with a frame machine ? I hit a curb with my ****** GT (same designed front end) and I had to have the frame pulled to get it alligned properly. The curb drove the lower control arm back. It wasn't pretty but it ran me just under $300 for frame time and front end alignment. Just a thought !

dammit! you're making it hard. Second thing I'd check is the subframe, sure it is solid, but can be damaged, because something isn't mechanically right and it shows in your current specs. Geez, my car caught air by mistake back in september, and I was still allowed full range of motion, yielding -1 degree of camber all around, and 5 degrees of caster on both sides. Btw, what kind of alignment rack are they using? is it a camera style with reflective plates, or a laser style with the arms that hang in the front? The camera style by Hunter is probably one of the best racks your car can be aligned on, when I worked at NTB we used to see alot of in warranty returns on trucks and cars aligned on the laser rack.

I was told by the place who aligned it to take it to a frame shop to get the fram pulled, because there was nothing more they could do... I dont know what kind of alignment they were using, they had all 4 wheels hooked up with boxes with arms on them.. and they were looking at a screen in the front of the car...

Yeah, my 89 was a good car, I just wanted an ATX, and the gen 2 dash... I was tired of making all these sweet gen 2 gauges, and not being able to use them wink but I am happier with this car, there was thoughts on parting it, so I saved it, and hey, it is on the road, and driving good,so I am not complaining!
