EVR. You don't have a MAP/BARO sensor in an ATX.

The EVR (EGR Vacuum Regulator) controls the flow of vacuum to the EGR valve under the control of the PCM (computer).

There are several threads around here with instructions on how to post photos. You will have to upload the photo to a hosting site, then link to it using the IMAGE button below. Photoisland is one of the commonly used free hosting sites.

If it is connected to the EGR valve with a vacuum line it is the Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor. This is connected to the exhaust gas tube which goes to the EGR valve by two short fat silicone high temp hoses. It also includes a vacuum control solenoid and regulator.

The DPFE sensor is a flat, rectangular box that mounts to the rear of the intake manifold. The part he asked about is the EVR as he described it as cylindrical and on the firewall. The EVR has the hose that leads to the EGR valve.

The DPFE sensor does NOT connect to the EGR valve. It connects to a pair of sample tubes that are a part of the EGR tube. It also does not contain the other parts indicated.
