whats the difference?

Hey guys,
Im new to the forum and im glad to be on here. Anyhow this maybe a dumb question but whats the difference between a spring isolator, a spring insulator, and a spring seat? And also if im putting eibach springs on the car, can I align the car properly with the stock lateral links and the moog control arm bushings(K8627)? Or do I need the aftermarket tubular lateral links?

Yea I think so. I managed to find the part numbers after searching a bit but what about the eibach springs? will i need the adjustable control arms?

There have been many solutions to the alignment issues from a lower ride height suspension. On the front end you must drill out the spot welds in the upper strut tower adjustment plates to allow adjustment of the camber and caster. I elongated the adjustment slots in the front strut towers to allow my car to be adjusted to -0.8 degrees of camber at the front.

The driver side rear strut measured to -0.8 degrees without any modification. The passenger side rear strut was moved to -1.5 degrees and needed help getting back above -1.0 degrees, which is the lower camber limit.

The adjustable links are the premium solution. Eccentric bushings in the lower link's inner mount are another (I have a set that I never used). I chose to use a little geometry and determined where the upper strut mount needed to be moved to achieve the same camber as the driver side. A little math and a little drilling allowed the passenger side rear strut to be fixed at -0.8 degrees camber.
