What tire compound are you running for drag strip runs?

I need to make a tire decision. My build is primarily for weekends at the strip and not a daily driver (my build is for trying to reach 11's). I've watched countless SHO launches on YouTube, some spin tires but most don't. I'm wondering whether I can use a summer-only performance tire (treadwear 280) or a high performance all season (treadwear 560)? I'm looking at the Continental CONTISPORTCONTACT 3 (treadwear 280) and EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS (treadwear 560). I'd appreciate input from folks who run at the strip. Thanks in advance.

On the street, I regularly get spin off the line with DWS 06+. On a prepped surface, that may not be the case. I am also running 255s. I plan to go 275s next time.

The track I run on, is very dirty. So I run the DWS 06 Plus there. I tried dedicated track tires, but it was a negative for me. Check your track conditions before you make this choice.

I have had good success with the 275 MT Street SS for no wheel spin. Now getting one round form the factory was a bit of a challenge.

I used Nitto NT555R in the front and all seasons in the rear with good 1.6X sixty foots.

Nitto NT555R on the fronts on my best 60' runs (1.64), but I decent results with bf goodrich sport comp 2 summer tires as well. Had pretty good success with the Cooper Zeon summer tires also, but they were out of stock nationwide when I was looking to replace mine.

I have gone 1.7x at the strip, on my Conti WDS 06+ and had very little tire spin on the street. All while making 500+ tq to the tire.
