what oil to use?

I have been ordering and using redline synthetic for about 60,000 miles now, it's a thicker oil but its about $90 an oil change what do you guys use??

I am a believer in the Motorcraft semi-synthetic and synthetic oils, and also have used Mobil1 for many years. Either of those is way less expensive than Redline, and one would be hard pressed to notice a difference in the life of an engine with them v. Redline.

Pennzoil Platinum soon to be Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. Ive used mobil 1 before but felt like it didnt last over 4000 KM before idle and the rattle at startup gets worse. I believe any brand name synthetic will do fine.

I use Pennzoil ultra/platinum in all my cars. never had a problem, oil viscosity is still good at 5000 miles.

I just started using Eneos 5w30 full synthetic out of Japan its a bit cheaper than redline but supposedly just as good. I still need to send a sample off to Blackstone for analysis but its worth looking into. My EvoX buddy referred it to me supposedly a lot of the evox ppl use it.

I was using Mobil 1 full syn for the last year. Just tried out Amsoil for the first time, WOW.

Car feels way smoother and sounds even quieter. I was a complete skeptic too, figured if I changed the Mobil every 3k it couldn't be that big of a difference. I was wrong.

Only 4800 more miles on this Amsoil and I'll have samples of it, Mobil 1 full syn, and Mobil 1 full syn EP for testing.
