ok guys I know (or so I thought) that the sho has 39psi fuel pressure (don't have a gauge so I never measured it). I have been reading the Ford Fuel Injection and Electronic Engine Control book and I just got to the part in the book about fuel pressures. I just read and I quote "Lower Pressure's in the SHO engines, with greater range of RPM's and therefore different injectors, operate at 210kpa (31 psi)." Please tell me thats a misprint or im reading something wrong or just not understanding this part. For those of you that have the book and might be able to explain whats going on in those few paragraphs, its on page 146 bottom left, thanks guys:thumb:

EDIT: is it 31 at idle and 39 under load?

Maybe you should do a search, I have explained absolute fuel pressure a few times. Your fuel pressure is 39 with 0 vac. When under vac its 39 minus half the vac. For example my car usually is at 17 in HG so 39 minus 8.5 is 30.5 psi.

I did do a search and didn't find anything, although I will admit i didn't look hard because i didn't think someone would have covered this, but thanks:cool:
