What is that under the cupholder/shifter/console?

It looks like plastic tubing of some sort... it runs the length of the console/armrest. I drove around with the cupholder OUT, and noticed the "thing in question" got real cold

Just a guess and I have not seen the council with the cup holder out but is it for the rear heat and air?

You'd think someone with 1/2 a brain would've come to that conclusion
Of course, with the shifter there, I assumed it had something to do with the tranny.
Although, the sho is the WORST car I have ever seen for good cool air circulation (in the back seat). When it was our main car, the kids (in carseats) would ALWAYS be drenched in sweat after even a short summer day drive.
If I had any dignity, I would delete this thread
But some poor shmoe, like myself, can save face by doing a search

Even with the cavernous interior space, the SHO has the best A/C I've ever been in.
