Hi guys, I own a second gen. so I have not posted here before. Also, the car in question is not a SHO so that's my second offense - lol. But, if you guys could help, I'd be grateful.

My mom has a '99 wagon. She has the stock tape player w/ changer controls. What do I need to do to add a changer? Are there aftermarket changers or do I need genuine Ford? Best place to buy? What's involved with the install?

Thanks a million.

If her radio control unit has cd changer control [disc 1-6 button], you can add a changer from crutchfield, sound domain or other suppliers. changer and the right harness will plug into rear radio unit. plan on about $250-$300 for the changer, harness, and mounting hardware. Suggest you scan ebay, sometimes one pops up on it with a wiring harness.
