I have an 18 inch Walker glasspack in place of the resonator, and I realized that I didn't find out what inner diameter they put on :bonk: . I asked the shop and they said that it is either 2 inch or 2.5 inch, but he can't remember which size.

What's the minimum inner diameter that needs to be on there? If it is the 2 or 2.5 inch, am I causing problems? Thanks for the help. :salute:

Somebody? Anybody? I know that this is yet another exhaust question, but even through searching, I didn't find anything concrete.

Surge,
If the rest of your exhaust is 2.5 then just go with the 2.5 glasspack to make sure there are no restrictions....good luck.

I have Flowmaster mufflers and will have a y-pipe next week, other than that, it's stock. So....I will assume that it is 2.5...what if my glasspack is 2 inch? Am I hurting the car? Horsepower? Thanks.

I was under the impression that stock exhaust diameter was 1.75, but I could be wrong. I KNOW that my shoshop catback is 2.5 and both airflow and tone both improved by going to it instead of the stocker exhaust. It might not be a restriction now, but after you add your ypipe it probably will be....

Hope you can make it to DFW in Jan... :thumb: You missed out on good times in San Antonio!
