I have a 95 automatic sho with 122000 miles on it. This week I will be replacing the factory struts with tokicos and the factory springs with eibachs. I also have the bushings. While I am down here replacing things, what else should I do? Someone said I should replace the plates. If so, should I use factory ones or what after market ones do you reccomend?

Are the bushings for the 87-93 the same as the 95s?

Thanks for any advice

I would definately replace the strut tower mounts. Use the police strut tower mounts in the front.
Check out shonut, they got the parts and took good care of me when I did mine.
I replaced the struts on my first SHO with Koni's; a month later I got to pay the labor again to have the strut mounts replaced in the back and then I did the front not long after that.
When I just did my Koni/Eibach upgrade on my 94, I replaced them. Well worth it.

my .02 worth

gdsqdcr pretty much covered it.

I would also recommend new strut bearings as well. Also recplace all four bumper bellows ( i got mine from Carquest 14.99 each)
You also want to replace the four lower spring insulators while you are at it. New pinch bolts all around would be a good choice as well.
