I don't want to make many exterior modifications, mainly because I want to keep the "sleeper" effect in my car alive. But these, along with possible wheels, are some I have thought about doing. What are our thoughts?

#1 the stock ground effects painted to match the car color.HR Ford Taurus SHO 02 medium

#2 Euro style fender lights maybe with amber or white light.

IMO, I think the car is too big to color match the lower plastics.

Not sure about the paint, it doesn't hit me one way or another, I think it may depend on what color your car is, with my car that might be too much black not enough flat.

Now that I think about it the Police Interceptors have lights there already, I walk by one everyday, there not lights like the one in the picture but maybe the wiring is already there, if so that would doable for a handy person (I am not a handy person, I pay handy people). But yea I like that also.

I like the fender lights and saw them at the vendor's site. Problem for me was that it looks like tech support is non-existent and I see no instructions..despite the site saying to go to YouTube for instructions.

The Taurus Police Interceptors come with a plain black fender "grill". It's the police aftermarket like Whelen who make the grills with the lights. I'd bet the wiring is not there already.

This is incorrect. From the factory the lights are available as a selection. The lights from parts are like 800 bucks. Looked into it. The price point turned me off really fast.

I like the way the bottom of the skirts are painted the same colour as the body.

Good catch Johnbigdog....but the aftermarket also sell lights for the PI fenders. My real gripe with those was that they are in the flat black grills...

I too like the all painted body look. Makes the car look lower and not so "SUVish". If I'm ever given the opportunity, I will have this done. The car looks far more " luxury sedan.

I like the stance. I'm trying to find some picks of what the sho looks like with the aftermarket springs installed.
