the first pic looks like a MAF with some sort of electrical connector sitting on top of it.....hehehe

Second pic is the ground strap from the intake manifold to the firewall....that really should be screwed to the firewall...

third and fourth pics look like some sort of aftermarket alarm system parts.....can't be sure..

Aftermarket like an onstar system (not onstar , but you get the picture)

Alot of buisness ppl have that over here , they have like a wired fone next to their shifter , and its connected to an antenna on the rooftop or in window (no holes) and you have one receptor inside in the same place the antenna is glued. (communicating togetther?)

In the second phase of pictures, that was in the padding from underneath the hood. I just cut around it to take off the padding. I did it because I read in here that it muffles the secondaires. So getting rid of it makes the secondaries louder, oh and it was falling off anyway.

My '89 came with a dealer installed handsfree cellular :naughty:

Mic installed near the A-pillar above your head, and incoming audio plays thru the sounds system. It also has a "box" installed in the trunk, and a trunk lid mounted antenna.

The 3rd and 4th pics are of the hood pad grounding strap. Its' job is to catch all of the electromagnetic pulses that our electronics put out and take them back to vehicle ground. This keeps the EMPs from coming over your radio and our sensitive sensor wiring. Radio nets are a good thing.

The first thing. Is it just sitting there for reference? IIRC it's the underhood light. The round part you see is the remnants of the x-mas tree that pops into the hood brace. I might have mine sitting around somewhere for a pic/look. Mine never worked on my crunched hood or this one.

That was the pad end of the strap, I assume the other end is still attached to the firewall. The pad end is riveted to the shield so you're going to have a hard time re-connecting it to the shield. BTW the shield is underneath the black pad.

If it hasn't affected the way it runs by now, chances are it won't in the future.

I have that. The antenna cable is ran to the back seat, then up to the roof popping out in the middle connecting to the antenna. I also have three holes in the center console on the side parallel with the shifter.
