Do you have another wal-mart with auto center close by? I think I'd at least take my chances on a different group of techs

No. There are plenty of other tire / mechanic shops around town. I'll probably try out the FireStone Complete care since they already do my lifetime alignment.

Truethfully I can do this myself, I just choose not too. Doing tires is right up there with doing suspension work...

I hate suspension work. Lucky I didn't hurt someone (mainly me) last time I changed struts and the spring let loose while I had the strut in the bench vise

I'm putting the camber alignment kit I got from from SHO Source on the front along with new ball joints. I finally got a chance to use my new spring compressor and love it. Never had a job go so easily.

8MILELAKE MacPherson Strut Spring Compressor Interchangeable Fork Coil Extractor Tool With 3 pairs of C jaws and yellow covers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077XZVJ7W

Gets the spring compressed enough to have no load when taking to top off. Never could get that even when monkeying with two of the other types.

Those camber alignment plates really make a big difference, by the way. And even if you are not pushing the handling of the car, getting them in and as a result being able to spec the camber will save you a good deal in tire wear, as after a number of years almost all of these cars that have not been modified for such players are out of alignment permanently.

I totally agree! I already had this done on my other SHO and now it's the first Tauri I've owned that didn't wear the inside of the tire before the top! Of course, now it's getting close to time to change those tires too!
