i found out the water pump hosing is broken and is leakin had to go to the local pick an pull got the whole pump and hosing for 10.60


just no i have to get my lazy butt out there in the 90* weather were having to put the beast on so i can drive it now....

You have to remove the pump to change the belt so do it now while it's out. The small belt is pretty cheap.

there is a spacer thing the can come off when you remove one of the long bolts... the belt will slip right out...:woohoo:

Thanks guys! That's something I didn't get off the v8 mailing list. Is that long bolt witht he spacer on the waterpupm housing or something?

Lower bolt. If you look at things it is all that is between the block and pump that will prevent the belt from coming off.
