i took the tranny apart about 2 months ago and zip locked all the bolts in bags,

now i finally got the diff pins welded and the trans back together but i have a small bolt left over, and im not sure where from, i couldn't find a hole for it to into inside the tranny, and i don't see one on the outside.

i have the trans together now and im hoping i just accidentally picked this bolt up, buuuut if it is from inside the trans its from the reverse gear/shaft area because i took that area apart a bit before i found the 'manual'

and on a side note why does the 'manual' say i will be soooooory for removing the detent plunger retaining bolt?
-just looked at this a bit more and i presume theres supposed to be some sort of bearing and spring assembly in there? looks like im going to be making something. :S

ground the burrs off/down, hopefully trans will be happy, no aluminium in my 'chicklets' hopefully my $200 tranny runs well

JJust cause its harder to reasemble cause you have to hold the pin in while reasembling the cases.

hmmmmm, what pin? the only thing i had to go there was a bolt, it didn't seem to hold anything in against the main shift control shaft
i was shifting between gears watching it move and seemed like there should be something there to lock into the detented bits on the shaft but nothing came out when i took it apart. or it exploded so fast i didn't notice it.
