I cleaned my engine with CRC and put 60 or 70 miles on it. I changed the oil afterwards. I decided to stick a borescope down the intake manifold to have a look at the valves. On cylinder 3, firewall side rear cylinder, I found a weird shiny ring around the first intake valve. I took some pictures. Try posting earlier but apparently either too many pictures or not allowed to do full view. Hopefully I hear back on what the problem was.
Engine runs fine lots of power no popping through the intake manifold or backfiring. Will post pictures if allowed.
Any ideas on what the weird shiny ring might be? I suspect maybe a replacement valve seat?? Hopefully not signs of a burnt valve.

I found the problem a piece of hose down the intake. Ended up taking me intake manifold off. Not sure how it got there. Is it possible to change the timing chain and water pump without removing the intake manifold. From what I understood you have to take off the intake manifold to get the back valve cover off to work on the timing chain. I just had the car in the shop last week to have that work done.

Pretty obvious the shop that did your recent work accidentally dropped that in the intake. Good thing you caught it so soon and were able to correct it.

yeah that’s crazy, Removing the intake is required to do the timing chain and WP.
I would be having a talk with that shop..
