Ok I'm a little confused here we go. I have a 90 mtx the abs light has been off ever since I have owned the car. So regular braking has been taking place but the other day (prolly the first real spring day about 50 degrees F) the back right brake starts sticking bad. I can feel it lock me into place when I let it roll into a stop. I can also hear it creek into motion when I take off. This is not good since my clutch is 1/2 gone anyways. Well anways I got the car bout 6 months ago and the said the back right caliper was bad... so first thing I do is I replace the caliper and think nothing of it. Now the weather has warmed up its sticking and I can only thing the brake line is bad. But here's the funny stuff... after a trip where the brake sticks I will shut it off and about an hour after I shut it off I will start it up and the abs light will be gone!!! Only to find that the abs will engage at some random time at some random stoplight with some random semi-truck behind me next time. And when the abs kicks in it really brings me to a quick halt be it 5 mph or 45 mpgh... Anyways wtf to I do to stop the sticking and the weird abs act. Do I replace the brake cable and unplug the abs comp err what?

Please let me know
Many Thanks

Something is causing the caliper to stay engaged. You will have to inspect for the cause. It could be a piston assembly damaged by being pressed in rather than turned in. It could be corroded slider pins due to split rubber boots. It could be a pinched brakes hose not allowing the pressure to be released. It could be a sticking parking brake lever on the caliper or sticking cable to the caliper. If you don't know how to check for these things, have a professional shop check for you. Brakes are serious business. Don't drive with bad brakes.
