The flashes on the check engine light during KOEO test are reading out strangely. I'm getting a code for 52, then the pause for the next code, but I only get one digit flash readout before a long pause for the next code.
I'm getting 52 - pause - 4 - pause - 52 - pause - 4. Now you can also read that as 52, 45, 24 (I prefer 36-24-36 myself; bad joke). But why the long pause before the four and then after the four?
Code 52 is a "PSPS did not change states", 45 is "primary circuit coil #1 failure", and 24 is" air charge temperature (ACT) sensor out of self-test range".
I just installed a new coil about 3 months ago. I installed a new PCM about 2 months ago. Could a faulty PCM give a weird readout on the KOEO test?
What would you suggest I do? I feel that I can ignore 52. But change the coil again?
