Can you elaborate as to why you feel this way…??? :thankyou:

First, I'll ask if you have ever driven a car with a Quaife.

If not...Well.. I'll tell you that the Quaife is a Must have. Being able to hammer the throttle through tight corners without wheel spin is crazy. Understeer while under throttle going around a corner is not a Issue for me. As far as straight line performance, It really does not make a difference because its not a True Limited slip differential. (Its a Torque Biasing differential). I love it.

Now, The beauty of the wavetrac is that you can make it performance Just like the Quaife or be more like a true Limited slip before you put it in to the car...

Is the Wavetrac unit capable of cornering and strait line acceleration at the same time...???

I hope not. Sounds painful.

There was an obvious breakdown in communication between my brain and fingers when typing that question.....:nut:

What I meant to ask was can the Wavetrac unit be configured to give traction during hard cornering AND straight line acceleration...???

O.K. Thanks

Alrighty thanks for all the input.. sounds like the Wavetrac is a great upgrade/ Next question is how difficult is it to place in the transmission? You know is it something a home mechanic can do ..or is it best left to a decent trans shop?

I did mine at home. Shonut has a video that takes you though it step by step. He also rents the specialty tools needed to shim it. As far as setting it up differently, I thought they were both torque bias diffs and that the changes you could make to the wavetrac didnt change the bias, it just changed the feel some. The big advantage that was listed on the wavetrac was that, unlike the Quaife, if one wheel has zero traction it will still bias. I could be mistaken though
