i want to remove the water spots i have on my windows. its not horrible or something that obscures my vision but, i just want clear glass. i believe it is from acid rain or something or parking to close to sprinklers using reclaimed water. any ideas? or good products?

thanks

I use Meguiares Cleaner Wax on my glass. It removes almost every water mark and helps prevent new ones from forming.

Which window? I scrubbed my windshield hard for a long time until I realized it was on the inside. I guess the AC will turn the glass by the vents frosty, everyonce in a while.

I would have to agree with the wax theory. Although I am partial to the Meguires products too, any good wax with carnauba will suffice. As you wax the car do the glass as well (not in direct sunlight). Paint must be cool to the touch. You will find after removing it that your wipers will perform better and that the others windows will allow the water to just roll off.

Acid rain in San Diego? I didn't know that the San Onofre **** pumped out acid rain. It's not Tennessee. There aren't any coal burning power plants in California.

OK, joking aside, try vinegar. You can get big 2 gallon jugs at costco dirt cheap. Also look for this Eagle One glass polish crap. It has clay in it. You apply and it dries to a whitish blue. It should clean the glass really nice. It's the only stuff I found that can easily clean the greasy grime from the inside glass. The clay just soaks it up.
