Hey,
I washed my car today and after I was done I went inside and seen water running down the firewall and on to my floormats.
Is there some caulking that drys out or something ? Im going to take off the wiper blades and cowl this weekend but just wanted to know what to look for.
fix one thing and another pops up. :nut:

thanks
~greg

Hmm that is unusual to have that problem. I have heard of water leaking from the Sun Roof but never from the Fire Wall unless it was Coolant...

i know what it is... was your AC on? if the evaporator drian is plugged you can get that condensation back dribbling through on the pass side.

There is a plastic oval funnel that is attached to the cowl with sealer.
It feeds air to the climate plenum.
Pull your wipers then the cowl covers to get to it.
It may be out of position or the sealant has dried out.

cool, thanks I'll check it out. I should have also mentioned it was just the passenger side. when it did it, my blower motor was going crazy, like turning itsself on and when I tried to turn it off (it wouldnt)it made the engine stumble... my ac compressor was also cutting in and out even though I had everything off. Looks like I need to find some bad grounds. :munch:

The blower control module malfunctions like that from exposure to moisture. If you can fix the leak and dry out the unit it may not have to be replaced. It's a common failure part on these cars.
