can anybody tell me the torque specs for the water pump to the block. alldata doesnt say anything but torque specs for the water pump pully.

IIRC it is 12-15lbs. You want to be careful with the 3 bolts that don't go into the block but just feed through to the back half of the pump. That aluminum housing can strip easily.

no no. that aluminum housing is strong i had the right bolt in the right hole and in straight i was tightening them NOT TORQUING them and the head of the bolt twisted off so next 60k i have to drill out the bolt. none of the other bolts twisted off and i put those tight not really tight but tight.
