I've been noticing lately that the water pump has been making a sound. Mainly does it when it gets really humid out. But tonight I wanted to pinpoint the noise. I got out some WD-40 and sprayed the water pump pulley with a small blast, while the car was running. The sound went away, for about a minute, and came back. So now im thinking the belt may just be the problem, as i dont think the wd-40 could penetrate that fast, let alone at all(it was worth a shot though). I havent looked at the belt lately, but I was planning on replacing it when i did the front main anyways... I figured i post this to see what yall thought about it.
