Hi Guys,
I need some advice. I took my SHO in for an oil change yesterday and the guy told me there was water in my oil, possibly from the radiator he said. He told me this could be indicitive of a faulting head gasket. What do you guys think? My check engine light has been coming on periodically lately. Could the water be from the head gasket? Is there any other way it could have gotten there? Should I take it to Ford. I live in Lowell, Massachusetts. How much should a head gasket replacement job cost if I do that and are there any other jobs that should be done while they are doing this one. The car has 150K, she's a standard transmission, and of course, I love her. Please help!!

Check the codes (www.shotimes.com for instructions), but I doubt it will show anything relating to this problem. May as well check the codes though.

Does the car overheat/has it been overheated? Are you seeing a loss of coolant? Poor performance?

If your not comforatable with it, Bring it down to fred and I.

We can check the codes as well as the compression to see whats going on in the engine.

We will come in lower than the dealer on repair costs.
