This is weird! It was working last week. I hear clicking when I push in the button, then nothing. It's full of fluid. Fuse? It's not frozen.

I suppose I could check under the cowl for a hose issue. I returned the Chilton book to the library.

Probably something minor, I hope:thumb:

Well FWIW my 97 hasnt sprayed since I got it. I checked out the lines this last week and it seems there is a leak somewhere and the fluid isnt getting to the sprayers. One of the guys at work just recently replaced his whole assembly (im guessing just hoses) and said it did wonders. If your fluid is full try getting it to spray and then if the level changes you have a leak otherwise there may be a pump that needs replacing. Sorry im not an expert on this subject, just throwing out some ideas.

What kind of clicking do you hear? If it's not the washer motor running, then it might have gone bad. I would listen for the motor running first (you push the wash button and have a friend listen for the motor inside the right fender well). If it works, then start checking for leaky/plugged lines.

I held the spray button for 10-15 sec. and didn't see the fluid level change. I guess the tank isn't leaking. I will need to get it in the heated garage for a day and do some checking. We had warm weather for quite sometime and then a shot of cold air, so maybe that did it?

Maybe it's a sensitive SHO:biggrin:

Was pretty simple. Took about 30 min. I removed the pass. front wheel to make it easier. I pulled back some of the wheel well lining, probably wasn't needed because all the work was under the front. I had a bucket to catch the old fluid. I ran some hot water thru the tank to clean it out a little. Rinsed out the filter and noticed the lead wouldn't even stay connected to the old pump??? The pump came back to life on the first try.

If I were to do this again, I would just jack it up 8-10 in. and try to remove it without messing around with the other stuff. That's what I get for following "Universal Directions" and not knowing where the pump was:nut:
