This is why I will never participate in spectator drags. Intentional Pit maneuver = intentional incarceration directly following intentional assault charges.

Edit...I need to get a car that I CAN do this with...that looks like fun.

Hey Jim, off topic, were you at the mall yesterday around 5pm?

Perry

That's a big negative... I try and steer clear of the mall unless the little lady drags me there. Are you about ready to sell that 92' yet? The lease is coming up in a few months and I've been on the lookout for another SHO.

that guys been watching to much cops without REALLY watching cops

glad the neon hit the wall first and padded it for the SHO. the neon did that intentionally and deserves to get the majority of the damage.

I think this was already posted. Along with a video of an SRT8 Jeep getting smashed by some old chevy or something. The guys intentionally ramming are morons for sure, but don't take a nice car to beater races, then get mad when something happens.

LJRuddy's video shows it clearly. If played 1 sec at a time, the gap closes dramatically as the SHO cuts to the inside, before the neon taps it. If the Neon is at fault, it's only because he didn't anticipate somebody swerving and slamming the brakes in front of him.

Back in Michigan ... again.
Two conversations here, I love it!

The SHO tapped the Neon first to take the lead, and the Neon came back for the pit maneuver.

I'd love racing like that if they actually had rules against intentional hits. I'd never go to one like that unless I had a car I didn't care about.

Yeah that one. With a ba-jillion miles on it.

now Jim, you know I'm a sentimental type of guy. I couldn't live with myself if I allowed my beloved Silver Bullet to get stripped down and trashed on a race track.

On a side note, I've got plans for a certain black 91.

take a closer look, it appears the SHO was all over the brakes as it cut down low in front of the Neon. on the first curve, the SHO was going straight!!! at least the Neon knew enough to follow the track.

is that SHO the one Bizzy had for a while? didn't she sell it to somebody on the west side?

Most likely not the same car. I bought it from her, fixed a few things and sold it again for a loss (I don't think it's possible to make money from selling a SHO). It was a 96 with the amber turn signals in the rear and had slicers when I sold it. I'm sure someone could have swapped tail lights and rims, but this one also looks to not have any rust, and you could see rust on the rockers and the hood was also corroding on the 96. I loved the sound of that car, but I hated the gas milage!

Awsome... I don't wanna turn the 92' into a race car... just a nice clean daily driver. This car payment thing sucks but the lease will be up shortly and with a child arriving in a month I need another 4 door with speed. Plus I've never owned a 92' or 89'.

Thats funny because that guy did the PIT wrong which is why he got into the accident hahahaha. Youre supposed to make contact with the vehicle and once you turn into the vehicle, you let off the gas so the other car leaves contact with yours. The whole point is to hope the driver of the pitted vehicle will compensate for the bump and oversteer, but since you let go of the other car, they just spin out of control.

FAIL PIT.

EDIT: This info is straight from my Criminal Justice class, btw.
