I just wanted to get the word out, for all you newengland sho people, I bought my SHO from Michelin's Auto Body in NH, a salvage/body shop and "sho specialist." I knew the car had been in an accident, and the frame was fine, and it was supposedly as good as new. I haven't had any major problems apart from the usual SHO stuff, but when I replaced my timing belt, the mechanic found extinquisher dust in there, meaning it had been in a fire. Also, the guy was a complete **** once I paid for my SHO, and he promised to send a couple parts we had paid for, but he never did, despite our persistence. Just wanted you guys not to get ripped off and get a lemon.

i almost wish i had known you were going to get a car from there. A friend of mine had a similar problem from them with his first SHO and the guy was a major d*ck about what was wrong.

I have heard of them also. He has tons and tons of sho parts, but I'd be weary of buying a complete car from there, due to what he could have done to cars with those parts.... Sorry of your misfortune

I have dealt with them a bit as well. I went over there pick up a used starter for Mark Nunnally "loaner" car and to see if I can pick up a few crank bolts for Fred. The older man who runs the car sales is the typical plaid coat wearin' guy. He wanted $10 a piece a bolt plus $25 dollar labor to get them off (they never could budge them). I then proceeded to paid for the starter and he wanted to charge me more than he quoted me for a few moments before. I questioned him, he got defensive, and I politely dropped the starter on his office floor and walked out. They have a lot of SHO parts cars & motors, but use them only as a last resort.

typical dishonest, lazy, moneygrubbing greedy car dealer. When it comes to rare cars the a-hole ******** factor goes straight through the roof. Welcome to the real world where people are greedy a-holes only out for themselves. This is why I try to do as much stuff as I can because I'll get ***** otherwise. If anybody finds a decent place to get stuff let me know. Ford Parts Network has been good to me so far. One of my parts was seriously damaged in shipping and was replaced in the next couple days which was nice. Torre over there is pretty decent for a lot of OEM stuff which you will most definately need. www.fordpartsnetwork.com. He'll try all his plugs for a part at the best price, so you don't have to go hunting.
