My slicers are cool. But I've been staring at these Volvo wheels and I cannot find a reason to say no, they are wide enough for what tires I want to put and sexy enough to make my car have a nice stance.

They're Neptunes. 17x7. They have a center bore of 67. I think with hubcentric rings I can bring it down to 63. I'd appreciate the input, any kind is welcome.

A couple of members are running Volvo wheels. Sho Amo and 32MTX are two that I can think of off the top of my head. I don't think you'll have any problems. How wide are those?

You really dont need the hub centric rings. If you bolt it down slowly and correctly in the star pattern, it will work just fine.

If you want Volvo wheels, go with Volans, Pegasus or Comets:

They're 7 inches. The price is good, guy wants 500 for all 4 shipped to my door, has a cosmetic bend on the lip of one, not a sharp bend but it does look off.

those volvo wheels look pretty cool, I'm interested to see how the 6 spoke look works on the SHO.

I need spacers on mine, but I think they are 7.5" wide though

I don't use hubcentric rings, the wheels on these cars are held in place by the lugnuts. SHO style lugnuts will work on these wheels. I've had it for a year or more now, push it hard through corners, top speed runs, I haven't had any issues with the wheels on the car.

also I took some plastic spray paint and painted all the center caps black to hide the volvo logo, looks real good now.

I'm currently scouring for some of those you mentioned RCADDEL. The guys on Swedespeed aren't that responsive. Comets with 7.5" width would be my best bet though. They look quite nice.

At least slap those Neptunes on for a picture

I personally like the Comets the most of the two.

Andrew, what's the name of the Volvo wheels you (and 32mtx) have?

I see those here http://www.ipdusa.com/nl-76-709 in 18x8, (not 18x8.5) with a 38mm offset. Nice.

Will they fit a Gen 2 without modification? What size tire...225/45R18 looks about right.?

They would fit on my car. That tire size will work, and will allow for more fender/strut clearance than 245/40/18.

And I think they would look damn good on my 91...

I found a set of 18in Pegasus R wheels with 1 season left on summers and 2-3 seasons left on winters. What price should I be offering, I don't want to lowball the **** out of the guy either.

Is 700 reasonable?

Tire size is 235-40-18
