Have a question.. Just bought a 92 Taurus and trying to figure out why when I am driving at high speeds (45 up) and turn the wheel a little left or right there is mega vibration and clunking noise. Only when the wheel is perfectly straight is it minimal vibration. Also, on top of this there is a noticable clanking noise from the front when i hit bumps or shifting hard.

THANX

Try checking all the front suspention components and transmission/ engine mounts for wear. It might also be a good idea to jack the front of car up and make sure that a wheel isn't bent or that a tire doesn't have a broken belt. Check the wheel bearings for play at this time too. Let us know what you find out. Good luck.
