I have been having a vibration and noise coming from the front passenger wheel when turning right even just slightly, if I keep the steering wheel centered or to the left it is barely making noise or vibrating. Passenger says its definitely coming from the wheel. It sounds and feels like deep sounding machine gun banging going off and the rate changes with speed its lower when going slow louder when going fast.
I took the wheel off and the lower caliper slider pin was seized up, I was eventually able to get it free, greased it up, put on new brake pads and rotors and its still doing it. PIns are sliding freely now. I checked for wheel play grabbing 3 and 9 shaking it and 12 and 6 and I have no play what so ever. its solid. I cant see anything that would be rubbing.
Could my caliper bracket be warped and causing it? Would a bad CV do this? Its driving me nuts.
