First,does autozone or anybody check engine codes? or is the only way to find out the codes to buy a code reader?
Second, I have something wrong with my car. After I engange my clutch, and give the car gas, the shifter will move. it's like the twisting the engine does when you give it gas. I don't know why it know transmits that torque into the shifter, now, but it does. Does that sound like any sort of common problem? Also, sometimes I can feel vibrations through the shift ****. feels like something spinning. probably my clutch. And in 5th, I can hardly accelerate, even if I am goiing 60. These symptoms all showed up at the same time.
Third, where can I buy motor mounts from, and what are good mounts to get?

Answer my first question, and perhaps my second will be answered.

As far as the shifter goes, perhaps you have a blown mount or two.
I bought my engine mount from www.1stfordparts.com. Not sure if they'd have the ones you would need, but it's worth a look.
