Any thoughts/directions anyone can provide me on these two areas would be most appreciated...My 93' is still in hibernation here in "The Frozen Tundra", so I can't get after it until after the thaw(or a "warm" day). What special tools tool would you recommend& where can I find the best gaskets? Thanks in advance

The valve cover gaskets and spark plug well seals are found cheapest in the Fel-Pro VS50378R set from AutoZone.com (look up for a '91 SHO) for $71.99. The oil pan seal and RTV set is the Fel-Pro OS30636R set from AutoZone.com for $16.99. You have mail regarding the disassembly of the engine's upper end. You must remove the exhaust Y-pipe and starter to remove the oil pan. The pan seal set includes two molded rubber seals for the crankshaft *********** areas and black silicone RTV for the side areas. Before replacing this seal, ensure that the leak is not from the oil pressure sender (up on the block under the #3 cylinder), the oil level sensor (in the oil pan above and to the passenger side of the oil plug), the rear main crankshaft seal or even the front main seal. Verify the location of the leak before dropping the pan.
