Valve Adjustment

Is this as important on V8 SHO's as it is on the V6's? I never hear about anyone doing it. Or major tuneup for that matter, just spark plug changes and swapping coils.

Nope. Other than on a motor rebuild, I have yet to see a V8 motor that had any valves beyond like .1mm out of spec. We just welded a car with 154K yesterday, and all 32 valves were within spec. NOW, some were right at the high limit of spec, but still within spec.

Ok, then I guess I won't worry about it, the new 97 has about 150k on it.
