I was wondering what the bore is on the v8 tb? If I remember right it's 80mm? I might have something fun going on with it!

Paul is dead on. 73mm it is. I just measured mine with a caliper gauge. Now what kind of "fun" do you have going on with it?? :swing:

I thinking about doing some 77mm tbs, I've got one from v8 tb from SV&HOdan yesterday and was going to have it bored out and make a new plate, I might need a tester for this later on..... Have to find a c&c machine guy to make the plate for me!

Just make sure it's not going to cost ya a whole lot. I don't think there are really any kinda gains from doing this. The Gen 1/2s had a 55mm and they hopped up to a 73mm C&L unit. I just don't know if the 4mm gain will help at all. Keep us posted on what you come up with bud.

Well it worked for the v6 and went to 69mm, the car up felt better on the top end. I've been quoted a very good deal already, just for 1. I would think it would, it would help all of the other mods you have also. Also a nimz tune wouldn't hurt either, or an sct tune for that matter. I will keep everybody updated, I would hope to get a group buy going also

Sounds good man. I'm just about "modded" out so ****, whats one more. :laugh_ti: I currently have a SCT tune which I'm waiting for an update. That group buy would be sweet too, but I can tell ya from past experiences on here, get some dyno info cos if it doesn't help to add HP, the "natives" won't care for it.

thanks man, yeah lol I will see how everything goes. And would be just the back of the tb, as it would 73mm to 77mm, or I will have to see if I could how many mm's I could take it out "safely" 77mm would be safe I want to think, maybe I look into it, I have a person already for the dyno before and after, just to give them what they want
